Listening to a newly-discovered song on repeat. Drinking an ice cold glass of milk from a carton that you pulled from the very back of the fridge. These small nuances are what make life enjoyable. So many of us go about our lives of quiet desperation, with heads down and blinders on, not noticing the myriad little things that exist for the sole purpose of bringing us pleasure. Look up. Press pause. Notice the little things. Because they are what make life worth living!
